The US looks for a reserve base against Iran

 

The US military looks for places for its soldiers to stay, avoiding gathering at a large base that is prone to ambush when a conflict breaks out with Iran.

"We are not going to build new bases, need to make that clear. We want to be able to deploy elsewhere for duty as tensions escalate. This is something that any military strategist has."

US media had previously said that the US military was planning to develop multiple seaports and military airports in the desert region of western Saudi Arabia, turning them into a field base if there is a war with Iran.
